Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly capable Remote Civil Engineer to design, develop, and oversee infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and water systems. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, site development, and sustainable practices across various regions.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, ECSA registration, and at least eight years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation).
• Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, hydrology, and transportation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze civil infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, and earthworks.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports using CAD and other relevant software.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with external agencies, clients, and project stakeholders for approvals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for new infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout construction.
