Placements24 seeks a visionary Chief Information Security Officer to lead the company’s cybersecurity program. This fully remote executive role defines security strategy, protects assets, ensures regulatory compliance, and reports to the board and executive leadership.

The ideal candidate will have deep cybersecurity expertise, exceptional leadership, and a proven ability to manage risk in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration, or related field.
• 15+ years in information security with 7+ years in senior leadership (CISO, VP Security).
• Proven track record in enterprise-wide security strategies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and emerging threats.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long-term information security strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee risk management, incident response, threat intelligence, and security architecture.
• Build, lead, and mentor a global information security team.
• Engage with executives, board, and external stakeholders on security matters.
