Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to spearhead security initiatives in a fully remote capacity. This senior role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing robust cybersecurity across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering and architecture.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, and application security.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and secure coding practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills suitable for a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-wide cybersecurity solutions and strategies.
• Oversee threat modeling, risk assessments, and the implementation of mitigation plans.
