Job summary

Placements24 seeks a dynamic Remote Information Security Manager to lead its security initiatives for Randburg-based operations. This senior role oversees the information security program, drives policy development, and leads a team of security professionals in a fully remote setup.

You will collaborate with senior management and global stakeholders to build a robust security environment, manage risk, and respond to incidents while shaping the organization’s security future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Info Security or related field; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years in information security; at least 3 years in management.
• Proven experience building enterprise-wide security programs.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership and remote management communication skills.
• Certifications CISSP, CISM, or CISA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive information security strategy and program.
• Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.
• Oversee development and enforcement of information security policies and standards.
• Manage the incident response process with timely resolution of breaches.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement controls.
