Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist specialized in child and adolescent psychology for a fully remote role. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop evidence-based treatment plans and provide individual, group, and family therapy via telehealth to young clients.

Requires PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology, HPCSA registration, and 5+ years of post-doctoral experience with children/adolescents.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
• Registered as a Clinical Psychologist with HPCSA.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral experience with children/adolescents.
• Expertise in CBT, DBT, play therapy and family systems therapy.
• Strong virtual communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based interventions.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy sessions via secure platforms.
• Manage a caseload and monitor progress with adaptive strategies.
• Collaborate with parents/educators and other professionals for integrated care.
• Maintain confidential clinical records per standards and regulations.
• Stay current with research and ethical guidelines in child/adolescent psychology.
