Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Remote Child Psychologist specializing in early intervention to assess, diagnose, and treat young children (0–8) via telehealth from South Africa. The role emphasizes collaboration with families, educators, and other health professionals to promote optimal development in a fully remote setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a child development focus, is licensed in South Africa or eligible for licensure, and has at least

Qualificações

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with a specialization in Child or Developmental Psychology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in South Africa.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with young children and families, especially in early intervention.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments for young children via telehealth.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based modalities.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy for behavioral, emotional, and developmental concerns.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to support development and well-being.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with ethical/legal standards.
• Stay current with research and best practices in child psychology and early intervention.
• Provide consultation and support to referral sources and community partners.
