Placements24 is seeking a remote Clinical Psychologist to deliver telehealth services to clients across South Africa. The role involves virtual assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and providing evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy) via secure video conferencing.

Requirements include a Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, HPCSA registration, and at least four years of post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Registration and licensure with HPCSA to practice as Clinical Psychologist.
• Minimum of 4 years post-qualification clinical experience.
• Experience diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of disorders.
• Proficient with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools.

Responsabilités

• Conduct virtual diagnostic assessments and psychological evaluations using telehealth platforms.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions via remote sessions.
• Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain confidential clinical notes in compliance with regulations.
• Adhere to telehealth ethics and privacy laws.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
• Stay updated on telehealth research and best practices.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.
