Qualifications

• Advanced degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in chemical process simulation, modeling and optimization.
• Experience with gPROMS or Aspen Plus and Python or R.
• Strong background in statistics, ML, and AI for process engineering.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for virtual collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large plant operation data to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement MPC and advanced process control strategies.
• Model and test optimization scenarios using process simulation software.
• Collaborate remotely with site engineers to implement improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on advances in chemical engineering, simulation, and analytics.
