Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering is required.
7+ years hands-on experience in chemical process simulation and modeling.
Expert proficiency with major process simulation software packages.
Strong theoretical knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals and their application in modeling.
Experience with models for complex reactions, separations, and unit operations.

Responsibilities

Develop, calibrate, and validate dynamic and steady-state process simulation models.
Use Aspen Plus, HYSYS, PRO/II, and gPROMS for various chemical processes.
Apply thermodynamics, kinetics, fluid dynamics, and mass transfer principles to model development.
Analyze simulation results to identify inefficiencies and optimize operating conditions.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners in a remote setting.
Prepare technical reports and presentations on simulation studies.
Stay current with advancements in process simulation tools and methodologies.
Contribute to development of best practices and standards in process modeling.
