Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize chemical processes for new and existing products, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and economic evaluations for global projects.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
• Troubleshoot process issues remotely, providing guidance to on-site teams.
• Ensure designs comply with international safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of chemical processes for a variety of applications, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize chemical processes for new and existing products, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and economic evaluations for global projects.
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications.
• Troubleshoot process issues remotely, providing expert guidance to on-site teams.
• Ensure all designs comply with international safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with international project managers, engineers, and clients via virtual platforms.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry best practices in chemical engineering.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff on remote project assignments.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in process design, development, and optimization.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex chemical engineering projects.
• Extensive experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and design tools.
• Deep understanding of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and separation processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in virtual collaboration tools.
• Experience working with international teams and diverse regulatory environments is highly desirable.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent international registration is a strong asset.
