About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Remote Senior Chemical Process Engineer to join their globally distributed team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of chemical processes, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that drive efficiency and sustainability. You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams through digital platforms, providing critical engineering expertise from process concept to scale-up. Key Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and optimize chemical processes using advanced modeling and simulation tools.
• Conduct feasibility studies and techno-economic analyses for new process concepts and modifications.
• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues encountered during pilot or production phases, providing remote support.
• Collaborate virtually with R&D, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure successful process implementation.
• Document process designs, operating procedures, and performance reports.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering .
• At least 8 years of experience in chemical process design, development, and optimization.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, Chemcad) and data analysis techniques.
• Solid understanding of core chemical engineering principles, including reaction kinetics, separations, and heat transfer.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote team setting.
