About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Chemical Process Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis. This pivotal role will involve leading the design, development, and optimization of complex chemical processes from afar. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of new chemical processes and the modification of existing ones.
• Conduct thorough process simulations, data analysis, and economic evaluations to support decision-making.
• Develop and manage process documentation, including P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and operating procedures.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for process-related issues, working collaboratively with site teams.
• Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in chemical process design and development, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
• Extensive experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, UniSim) and advanced modeling techniques.
• Deep understanding of chemical reaction engineering, separation processes, and thermodynamics.
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and risk assessment methodologies is essential.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with strong emphasis on remote collaboration.
