Job summary

You will develop and optimize novel chemical processes from lab-scale concept to pilot-scale manufacturing, focusing on kinetics, thermodynamics, and separation techniques.

You will collaborate with a distributed team, design experiments, analyze data, and transfer technology to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in chemical process development and scale-up.
• Experience with process simulation software (Aspen, ChemCAD) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments to develop and optimize synthesis routes.
• Perform bench-scale and pilot-scale experiments to validate viability.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Use process modeling and simulation tools to enhance process understanding and efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot potential process issues and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with upstream (R&D) and downstream (manufacturing) teams for technology transfer.
• Contribute to IP development by documenting novel processes and findings.
• Ensure laboratory work complies with safety and environmental regulations.
