Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Catering Coordinator for a national leader in virtual and hybrid event catering solutions. You will coordinate catering orders, liaise with clients, manage delivery partners, and troubleshoot issues to ensure timely, accurate culinary experiences for participants across locations.

This fully remote role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently within a virtual team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in coordination, logistics or customer service in catering/events.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with online ordering platforms, CRM and standard office software.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Problem-solving and calm under pressure.
• Experience with virtual or hybrid event logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering orders for virtual and hybrid events, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Liaise with clients to confirm event details, participant numbers, and dietary requirements.
• Manage relationships with third-party delivery services for efficient logistics.
• Track orders from placement through delivery, addressing delays.
• Process payments and maintain records of catering transactions.
• Communicate with internal teams (sales, operations) about event needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to orders or client concerns.
• Maintain a database of client preferences and event histories.
• Assist in developing/refining operational processes for virtual catering delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and participants.
