Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly creative Catering Event Planner to manage and execute a diverse range of events remotely. You will liaise with clients, select caterers, manage budgets and oversee the event from conception to completion.

This fully remote role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in an independent work setting. You will coordinate all logistics and ensure memorable experiences for clients across a wide range of events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Planner, with catering focus.
• Strong portfolio of events of various types and sizes.
• Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client/vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand event vision, needs and budget, advising on menu options and themes.
• Source, vet and manage relationships with caterers and vendors.
• Develop detailed event plans: timelines, staffing, logistics.
• Oversee event budgets for cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial parameters.
• Coordinate on-site logistics or virtual setups for virtual events, ensuring smooth execution.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback for service improvement.
