Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Catering Event Planner to coordinate catering events from a home office. You will work with clients to understand visions, customize menus, manage budgets and coordinate vendors and internal teams from a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning with catering/hospitality focus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events remotely.
• Strong organization, time management and problem solving.
• Excellent communication and client/vendor relation skills.

• Passion for creating memorable experiences with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all catering event details, including menu, venue liaison and staffing.
• Serve as main client contact, managing expectations throughout planning.
• Develop and manage event budgets for cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Source and manage relationships with decorators, entertainers and rental firms.
• Oversee event timelines and ensure deadlines are met consistently.
• Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
