Qualifications

• Proven experience as a creative designer with a strong portfolio in events/hospitality or related visual field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative catering presentations, themed events, or visual concepts.
• Excellent visual communication skills, proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and digital sketching.
• Deep understanding of food aesthetics, color theory, and presentation techniques.
• Ability to think conceptually and translate abstract ideas into concrete designs.
• Exceptional remote collaboration and communication skills with virtual tools.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with different cuisines and dietary considerations is a plus.
• Must be able to work effectively from a remote location, ideally within commutable distance to Midrand, Gauteng, ZA for occasional site visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop unique catering concepts, including thematic menus, décor integration, and presentation styles for events.
