Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly analytical Remote Catering Operations Analyst to optimize operational efficiency and cost management across nationwide catering operations. You will work with large datasets covering food costs, labor, inventory, and client feedback, delivering clear insights to stakeholders in a remote-first team.

You will build and maintain KPI dashboards, forecast demand, and propose data-driven improvements to enhance service delivery and profitability for the catering division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field as required by the role.
• 3+ years of data analysis or operations analysis experience, preferably in hospitality or catering.
• Proficient with Excel (PivotTables, formulas), SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Strong statistical analysis and modeling knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to catering operations, including financial, operational, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reports to track efficiency and identify trends.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement, inventory, labor, and service delivery.
• Conduct root cause analysis and propose data-driven solutions.
• Develop forecasting models for demand, inventory, and staffing needs.
• Collaborate with managers to interpret data and implement recommendations.
• Prepare reports and presentations highlighting insights for management.
• Contribute to development of best practices and SOPs based on data analysis.
• Stay updated on industry data analysis advancements in catering operations.
