Virtustant is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support US-based clients in a 100% remote role. You will keep clients’ books current by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.

Experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero and knowledge of US accounting principles are essential. This full-time position follows US business hours and offers payment in USD or local currency, with ongoing support from the Virtustant team for remote professionals in South Africa.

Formación

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Advanced English at C1 or higher.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero.
• Knowledge of basic US accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.

Responsabilidades

• Record transactions and categorize expenses.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial reports.
• Process invoices and payments.
• Support the client's accountant at month-end and tax time.
