Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead BIM Specialist to drive BIM strategy across projects, working remotely and shaping digital design. The role emphasizes establishing standards, developing workflows, and guiding project teams in BIM implementation.

You will lead execution planning, provide expert training, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure data integrity and optimized workflows. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this remote role.

Qualifications

7+ years in BIM roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or specialist capacity.
Advanced proficiency in Revit; experience with Navisworks and Solibri.
Experience developing and implementing BIM standards and execution plans.
Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP design and construction processes.
Experience with clash detection, model federation, and data management within BIM environments.
Excellent communication and training skills with ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
Lead the creation and management of project-specific BIM execution plans.
Provide expert technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
Oversee the quality control of BIM models, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with external consultants and clients to integrate BIM data across disciplines.
Stay abreast of BIM technology and industry trends, recommending new tools and methodologies.
