Placements24 seeks a seasoned Lead BIM Specialist to drive BIM strategy across a fully remote architectural practice. You will develop standards, templates, and workflows, and mentor a dispersed BIM team to ensure data integrity and project success.

The role requires deep BIM expertise, leadership ability, and a passion for digital excellence in design and construction, with ongoing opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a BIM specialist or management role within an architectural context.
• Demonstrated expertise in Revit and other BIM-related software (e.g., Navisworks, Dynamo).
• Strong understanding of construction processes and the role of BIM throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a remote team.
• Experience in developing and enforcing BIM standards and execution plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and templates for the practice.
• Lead and mentor the BIM team, providing technical support and training on BIM software and workflows.
• Oversee the creation and management of BIM models for complex architectural projects, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM into all project phases, from concept design to facility management.
• Conduct quality control checks on BIM models and documentation to ensure adherence to standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in BIM technology and workflows, recommending and implementing improvements.
