Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., IATA SMSD, ISBAO) are desirable.
• Minimum 7 years of aviation safety management experience in airline, airport, or regulatory roles.
• Knowledge of ICAO Annex 19, SMS, and risk management principles.
• Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS) for clients.
• Conduct safety risk assessments, hazard identifications, and mitigation planning.
• Ensure compliance with SACAA, ICAO Annex 19, and other safety standards.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs and awareness campaigns.
• Investigate safety occurrences and provide detailed reports and recommendations.
• Establish and monitor safety performance indicators and KPIs.
• Facilitate safety review boards and risk management workshops.
• Advise clients on best practices and regulatory changes.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across client organizations.
