Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Aviation Safety Manager for a prestigious international aviation group. The role is fully remote, enabling management of safety initiatives from anywhere while ensuring compliance with ICAO, EASA, SACAA.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aviation Management or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in aviation safety management with emphasis on compliance and auditing.
• Extensive knowledge of international aviation regulations (ICAO Annex 19, EASA Part M, Part 145) and SACAA.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing robust Safety Management Systems (SMS).
• Experience conducting comprehensive aviation audits and investigations.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the SMS in compliance with ICAO, EASA, and SACAA regulations.
• Conduct internal and external audits of procedures, safety protocols, and compliance measures.
• Analyze safety data and audit findings to identify trends and risks.
• Develop corrective action plans to address safety deficiencies.
• Provide guidance and training on aviation safety regulations and best practices.
