Placements24 is seeking a Remote Aviation Operations Manager to oversee flight operations from a remote setting, coordinating with ground operations, flight crews, and regulatory bodies to ensure safe, efficient operations across borders.

The role requires strategic planning, strong regulatory knowledge (ICAO, SACAA), and proven leadership in virtual environments. You will optimize resource use and drive continuous improvement within a global aviation services organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation operations management.
• Proven experience managing remote teams and operations.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., ICAO, SACAA).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in aviation management software and virtual collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness in flight operations.
• Manage flight scheduling, crew resource management, and resource allocation remotely.
• Ensure strict compliance with all national and international aviation regulations.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigation, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of aviation professionals, fostering collaboration and performance.
