Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Automotive Systems Engineer to join our advanced engineering team. You will design, develop, and integrate complex automotive systems from a home office, using high-fidelity modeling and simulation tools to define architectures and specifications.

You will collaborate with a globally distributed group of engineers to validate designs with MATLAB/Simulink and Modelica, maintaining strong communication and independent work discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.
• Significant professional experience in automotive systems engineering, with a focus on design and integration.
• Proficiency in system modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrated automotive systems, including powertrain, chassis, body, and electrical components.
• Create detailed system specifications, requirements, and interface definitions.
• Utilise advanced simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Modelica) to validate system designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful integration of subsystems.
• Analyze test data and simulation results to identify and resolve design issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies within a remote framework.
