Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative and experienced Remote Automotive Software Engineer to contribute to embedded infotainment and connectivity systems. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team.

You will design, develop, test, and optimize software, participate in architecture discussions, and help advance AUTOSAR, CAN, Ethernet, and RTOS-based modules, with emphasis on performance, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, EE, or related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably automotive.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, or Python and RTOS experience.
• Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet and AUTOSAR standards.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong remote collaboration and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for infotainment, navigation, and connectivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.
• Implement and optimize software features for performance, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues identified during development and testing.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions, contributing to best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging automotive software technologies.
