Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote Automotive Software Developer to design, develop, and implement software for next-generation automotive applications. You will work from home on embedded systems, infotainment, vehicle connectivity, and autonomous driving projects.

The role requires strong programming skills, SDLC knowledge, and the ability to collaborate in a distributed team to deliver robust, secure software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience with embedded systems.
Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Java for automotive software.
Experience with CAN, Ethernet, and UDS diagnostic standards.
Proficient in SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and remote-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and debug software modules for automotive embedded systems and applications.
Develop software for infotainment, navigation, connectivity services, and driver assistance.
Implement RTOS and ensure efficient resource management.
Collaborate with systems engineers and hardware developers to define software requirements and interfaces.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure quality.
