Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Software Developer to join the remote engineering team. The role focuses on developing software for automotive systems, including connectivity, diagnostics, and driver assistance, with collaboration across senior engineers and product teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, 1–3 years in software development (embedded preferred), and strong coding skills in C++, Java, Python, or C#.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in software development, preferably with embedded systems exposure.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, Python or C#.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Remote work ability and strong communication in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy software for automotive systems.
• Collaborate on software design, feature implementation, and bug fixes.
• Write clean, maintainable code following coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
• Assist in integration of software components with hardware and other modules.
