Placements24 seeks an Automotive Software Developer to join a fully remote engineering team, developing embedded software for ADAS and vehicle control modules. The role emphasizes real-time C/C++ development, RTOS, and rigorous testing to deliver safe, efficient automotive software.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across requirements, design, and verification, contributing to the lifecycle from concept through deployment in a flexible, work-from-home environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming languages.
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems development.
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement embedded software for automotive applications, focusing on ADAS features.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems.
Participate in the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of software components.
Contribute to code reviews and uphold high standards of software quality.
