Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Software Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and implement embedded software for next-generation vehicles, focusing on infotainment, ADAS, or vehicle control units.

Applicants should have strong C/C++, Python experience, RTOS, and familiarity with CAN/LIN/Automotive Ethernet, plus collaborative remote-working skills and a passion for automotive innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with embedded/automotive software focus.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and RTOS.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet.
• Experience with Git and debugging techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for automotive applications.
• Write clean, efficient code in C/C++ or Python.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to define software requirements and architecture.
• Implement and optimize algorithms for navigation, diagnostics, and connectivity.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality.
• Stay updated on automotive software advancements and contribute to innovation within the team.
