Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Architectural Drafter to join a distributed team and produce construction-ready drawings from a home base. You will translate concepts into precise plans and collaborate with project architects and designers to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications.

The role emphasizes proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, BIM modeling, and strong remote communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in architectural technology or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional drafting experience in architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
• Strong knowledge of architectural symbols, conventions and detailing.
• Excellent remote-work discipline and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections and details.
• Prepare and modify BIM models and 2D drawings using industry-standard software.
• Ensure drafted work meets project requirements, design intent and building codes.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams via digital channels.
• Maintain organized digital files and documentation for Paarl-area projects.
