Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Process Development Engineer to design, develop and optimize API manufacturing processes for scalable production. This fully remote role emphasizes robust, cost-effective solutions while meeting quality and regulatory standards within the pharmaceutical sector.

The ideal candidate has strong chemical engineering fundamentals, hands-on process development experience, and the ability to drive technology transfer and scale-up from a remote location across

Competenze

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in process development within pharma or fine chemicals focusing on API manufacturing.
• Experience with scale-up, optimization, and technology transfer.
• Strong understanding of organic chemistry, reaction kinetics, and chemical engineering principles.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and statistics is a plus.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical synthesis routes and manufacturing processes for APIs.
• Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale experiments to evaluate feasibility, safety and efficiency.
• Perform PHAs and implement safety controls.
• Develop process control strategies and ensure robustness for large-scale manufacturing.
• Generate process development reports and contribute to regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality control and engineering teams for tech transfer and scale-up.
