Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Aircraft Maintenance Planner to oversee the scheduling of maintenance for a modern fleet. You will develop detailed maintenance plans, coordinate resources, and ensure parts and documentation are available to minimize downtime.

This remote role requires strong planning, knowledge of SACAA regulations, CMMS proficiency, and the ability to work independently from anywhere in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance planning.
• Solid understanding of maintenance schedules and regulatory requirements (SACAA).
• Proficiency with CMMS or similar planning software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed maintenance plans and schedules for aircraft, aligning with manufacturer recommendations and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance personnel, tools, and equipment for scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
• Prepare work packages with task cards, data, and parts lists for teams.
• Monitor task progress and adjust schedules to mitigate delays.
• Ensure timely availability of parts and materials with supply chain partners.
• Maintain records of plans, schedules, and completion status in the maintenance system.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes.
