Placements24 seeks an experienced Aircraft Electrical Systems Engineer to join a distributed, fully remote team. You will design, develop, integrate, and test electrical power and distribution systems for next-generation aircraft, ensuring reliability and safety from your home office.

You’ll work with global teams, applying ARP4754/DO-254 standards and using AutoCAD Electrical and Zuken E3.series to deliver robust solutions. Strong communication is essential for successful remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in aircraft electrical systems design and analysis.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Zuken E3.series tools.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards (ARP4754, DO-254).
• Experience with testing and validation of complex electrical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical power generation, distribution, and control systems for aircraft applications.
• Develop system requirements, architecture, and detailed design specifications for electrical systems.
• Perform load analysis, fault tolerance studies, and reliability predictions for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with harness designers, component engineers, and systems integration teams.
• Develop and execute test plans for electrical system components and assemblies, often coordinating remotely with test facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical system issues and develop effective solutions using remote diagnostic tools.
