Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a fully remote role. You will lead electrical design across complex projects, develop schematics and control architectures, and mentor junior engineers from a distance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in electrical design, expertise in distribution, protection, and control systems, and proficiency with ETAP, Pspice, and AutoCAD Electrical, to drive design excellence remotely.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on complex systems.
Expertise in power distribution, protection, and control systems design.
Proficient with ETAP, Pspice, and AutoCAD Electrical.
Proven ability to lead design efforts and mentor engineers remotely.
Strong problem-solving and knowledge of electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Lead the electrical design process for complex projects from conceptualization through detailed design and documentation.
Develop comprehensive electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system architectures.
Perform advanced power system analysis, including load flow, fault current, and arc flash studies.
Specify electrical equipment and components aligning with project requirements and best practices.
Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers remotely.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineering disciplines via virtual platforms to ensure project success.
