Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team in a remote capacity, with occasional travel to a facility near Mahikeng. You will design, develop, test, and integrate aircraft electrical systems, harnesses, and power distribution, ensuring compliance with MIL-STD ARINC and EMI/EMC requirements.

The role requires a strong background in electrical CAD (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN), simulations, and independent problem solving in a remote work setup,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in aircraft electrical system design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for aircraft, including power distribution and control.
• Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness layouts.
• Perform load analysis, protection calculations, and signal integrity analyses.
• Oversee integration and testing on aircraft; troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulations.
