Placements24 is seeking a Remote Aircraft Systems Engineer to join their advanced engineering team. You will design, develop, integrate, and test complex aircraft systems from your home office, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability.

You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams, analyze system performance, and document design decisions while contributing to cutting-edge aviation technologies in a remote, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft systems design, development, or integration.
• Proven experience with aerospace systems including avionics, flight controls, or power systems.
• Strong understanding of aerospace standards and regulations (EASA, FAA).
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE and simulation tools relevant to aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate aircraft systems (avionics, propulsion, electrical, hydraulic).
• Perform integration, testing, and verification to meet design specs and airworthiness.
• Analyze performance, identify failure modes, and implement robust solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and manufacturing teams.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation (design specs, test plans, reports).
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide engineering support through development and operations.
