Placements24 seeks an AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to shape responsible AI practices from a fully remote setup. You will lead policies, assess ethical risks, and guide teams on bias mitigation, transparency, and accountability while aligning with GDPR/AI Act.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Ethics, Law, CS, Sociology, or Public Policy with AI ethics specialization.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing ethical frameworks or governance structures for technology.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML principles and their societal impacts.
• Familiarity with GDPR, AI Act, and related regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex ethical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI ethics policies and governance frameworks.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for new AI projects.
• Advise development teams on bias mitigation, fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI systems.
• Monitor regulatory developments and standards related to AI ethics globally.
• Develop and deliver training programs on AI ethics for employees.
• Investigate and address ethical concerns regarding AI systems.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
