Job summary

Nxgl is seeking an AI Data Platform Engineer to own the data platform behind Next Gen Learning (NGL). This hands-on role requires owning end-to-end data systems, turning raw data into business insights, and supporting AI-driven decision making.

You will design the Student 360 and Account 360 views, build LLM-powered pipelines, enforce data governance, and collaborate with product, marketing, finance and leadership to turn questions into metrics.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with Python.
• Experience in analytics or data engineering with SQL and cloud warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the core data model as the single source of truth for analytics.
• Shape the model into the Student 360 and Account 360 views.
• Generate ad-hoc data insights and turn the ones that stick into models.
• Keep the platform trustworthy with automated testing and CI gates, drift alerts, and monitoring.
