Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote AI Platform Engineer to join our client’s engineering team. This fully remote role focuses on building and maintaining scalable AI infrastructure and tooling to empower data scientists and engineers to innovate quickly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering, with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and the MLOps lifecycle is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
• Develop and maintain robust MLOps pipelines for automated model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Create and manage tools and frameworks that simplify the AI development lifecycle for internal users.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the AI platform.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and software engineers to understand their platform needs.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for efficient resource management.
