Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Agile Project Manager to join our forward-thinking team in Polokwane or remotely. You will lead software projects using Agile methods and guide cross-functional teams through sprints to ensure timely delivery in a virtual setting.

Facilitate ceremonies, manage the backlog with the Product Owner, remove impediments, and coach teams on Agile principles. Strong remote communication and Scrum/Kanban expertise are essential; CSM or PSM certification

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Excellent remote communication and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams toward goals.
• CSM or PSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote settings.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate distributed teams towards common goals.
• Certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is highly preferred.
