Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Project Manager with a strong emphasis on Agile to join a globally distributed team. You will lead cross-functional software development efforts, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and ensure timely delivery and quality in a fully remote environment.

The role requires proven experience with Scrum/Kanban, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects across time zones. Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is preferred.

You will lead cross-functional teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, meeting quality and timeline expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting Agile principles and continuous improvement.
• Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, both within the team and to senior management.
• Utilize project management and collaboration tools to track progress, manage backlogs, and ensure transparency across the distributed team.
• Remove impediments for the development team to ensure smooth project progression and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically with a strong background in Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience managing software development projects or similar complex initiatives in a remote setting.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, adept at managing virtual teams.
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects concurrently.
