Job summary

Placements24 is looking for a proactive Remote Agile Project Manager to guide software development teams through the Agile lifecycle from home. You will ensure efficient delivery and foster a collaborative, fully remote work environment by applying Scrum and Kanban practices.

The role requires strong communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills, with hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence. You will partner with product owners and stakeholders to remove impediments and deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master in software development.
• Proven ability to manage projects and teams effectively in a fully remote setting using virtual tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their practical application.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for distributed teams.
• Manage and groom the product backlog in close collaboration with product owners and development teams.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, ensuring smooth sprint execution.
• Track project progress, velocity, and key Agile metrics, reporting transparently to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
