Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel activity across South Africa. You will research target accounts, identify decision makers and craft personalized outreach to open doors for our SaaS and advertising solutions.

The role is full-time and remote in South Africa, requiring 2+ years in SDR/BDR, strong written communication, and familiarity with outreach tools and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred.
• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
