Placements24 is seeking an experienced 5G Network Deployment Specialist to join its fully remote team. The role focuses on the rollout, activation, and integration of advanced 5G infrastructure across diverse sites, with collaboration across project managers and vendors.

Applicants should have a strong background in RAN, core network elements, and transmission systems, plus hands-on deployment and optimization expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mobile network deployment, with a strong focus on 5G technologies.
• In-depth understanding of RAN, core network elements, and transmission systems.
• Familiarity with network planning tools and performance monitoring software.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and hands-on technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the deployment of 5G network elements, including base stations and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure timely and accurate installation, configuration, and commissioning of network equipment.
• Perform network testing and optimization to verify performance and meet service level agreements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the deployment phase.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, field technicians, and vendor partners.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and update network inventory systems.
