Placements24 is seeking a talented and imaginative 3D Character Artist to join their fully remote team, focusing on character creation for animation and interactive media within the arts and entertainment sector. You will take characters from concept sculpt to texturing, rigging and final rendering, collaborating with concept artists and animators to realize bold visuals.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of professional experience, strong anatomy knowledge, and a portfolio showcasing

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a 3D Character Artist in games or animation.
• Proficient in Maya, 3ds Max, Blender or ZBrush with strong texturing skills.
• Solid understanding of anatomy and character proportions.
• Portfolio depicting high-quality character modeling, texturing and rigging.

Responsibilities

• Sculpt, model, texture, and rig high-fidelity 3D characters.
• Collaborate with concept artists and animators to realize character vision.
• Optimize assets for real-time engines and animation pipelines.
• Stay updated on latest 3D tools and techniques.
