Placements24 seeks a talented 2D Animator to join a fully remote animation studio. You will bring characters to life with fluid, expressive animation for series, game cinematics, and explainer videos.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a 2D Animator with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in 2D animation software such as Adobe Animate or Toon Boom Harmony.
• Solid understanding of character performance, acting, and storytelling through movement.
• Strong drawing skills with a keen eye for anatomy, form, and expression.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Animate 2D characters and assets according to storyboards, scripts, and art direction.
• Apply timing, spacing, squash and stretch, and anticipation for believable motion.
• Collaborate with directors, storyboard artists, and other animators to ensure consistency.
• Incorporate feedback from supervisors to refine animation sequences and improve quality.
• Maintain efficient workflow and organization of animation files within the remote production pipeline.
