Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Registered Architect for a Pretoria-based role focused on commercial projects. You will lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring design quality and client satisfaction within a hybrid working model that blends office collaboration with remote flexibility.

The candidate will have SACAP registration, 7+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial architecture, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Architect with SACAP and a minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience in commercial architecture.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and project management software; deep knowledge of construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of architectural projects from inception to completion.
• Lead client meetings and align project goals with stakeholders.
• Prepare design proposals, drawings and specifications for commercial developments.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and other consultants to ensure project success.
