Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Architect to lead commercial and retail projects from inception to completion. You will manage client relations, oversee design and construction documentation, and ensure budgets and timelines are met while delivering high-quality solutions.

The role offers flexible remote work options with occasional site/office visits, and involves contract-based engagement with significant autonomy on major developments.

Qualifications

• SACAP registration is required.
• Minimum 7 years post-registration experience in commercial/retail architecture.
• Proven ability to lead projects from inception to completion.
• Strong BIM proficiency and architectural software expertise.
• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.

This role involves leading projects from inception to completion, managing client relationships, and overseeing the technical aspects of design and construction. You will be responsible for ensuring projects meet budgetary, timeline, and quality standards while upholding design excellence. This is a contract position offering significant autonomy and the chance to manage high-profile developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of commercial and retail architectural projects from concept through to construction administration.
• Manage project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
