Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Registered Architect to join our Vereeniging team. The role involves leading major projects from concept through completion, ensuring design excellence and regulatory compliance within Gauteng.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid work model, balancing office focus with remote collaboration to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.

Qualifications

• Registered architect with SACAP and a valid practicing certificate.
• 5+ years in architectural design and project management.
• Proficient in BIM software (Revit) and related design tools.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, planning laws, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for architectural projects, developing innovative concepts and solutions.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Manage project execution, including budget control, timeline adherence, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure all designs meet building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability goals.
• Conduct site visits and reviews to monitor construction progress and address site queries.
